USPA NEWS - On Saturday, June 1st, the Indian and Bangladesh Cricket teams played a warm-up T20 cricket match, a first for the New International Cricket Stadium in New York that was built especially for the purpose of hosting eight of the T20 World Cup Men's Cricket Tournament games.

On Saturday, June 1st, the Indian and Bangladesh Cricket teams played a warm-up T20 cricket match, a first for the New International Cricket Stadium in New York that was built especially for the purpose of hosting eight of the T20 World Cup Men's Cricket Tournament games. The first T20 match is scheduled at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium on June 3rd when Sri Lanka will play South Africa. Team India first match at the new venue is scheduled for June 5, when powerful India do battle against Ireland.

In first warm-up match between India and Bangladesh, India defeated Bangladesh by sixty runs. India batted first and scored 182 runs for the loss of five wickets in their 20 overs. Bangladesh only managed to score 122 for the loss of nine wickets in their allotted 20 overs. India's Wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant led the scoring for India with a score of 53, and all-rounder Hardik Pandya contributed 40 not out to the Indian score. In the bowling department for India Shivam Dube captured 2 wickets for thirteen runs, and Arshdeep Singh also took 2 wickets while allowing twelve runs.
